Crosstalk on two notes
Our used handpans
Acoustic deficiencies affect the sound or the response of individual notes. One example is so-called crosstalk: when one tone field is struck, another tone field is unintentionally set in motion and resonates along with it. As a result, individual notes can influence each other and sound less clearly separated. The stated acoustic deficiency cannot be fixed by retuning.
Before this handpan leaves our shop, we check and tune it. Our retuning service of course applies to these instruments as well.

Mark Wilson started building steel drums when he was young. When he discovered the handpan, he was immediately fascinated by the new idea and started developing his own creations that have a unique sound. View profile
